Our community Garden of Hope is a very special place, and if you haven’t visited, now is the perfect time. Volunteers have been busy at work Gardening and showing love to Mother Earth. With unique plaques honoring children in the front and our amazing Cure Hunger Now portion of the Garden. With Strawberries, Onions, Squash, Spinach, and more this Garden feeds people.
On June 10 Jonah and Eagle Scouts picked our charity to do Jonah’s Boy Scout Troop project with Ponderiffic Adventures. Sponsors such as, Cherry Valley Nursery, White Water Rock and Supply, Stater Brothers, and Dominoes Pizza came together to make this happen. Cherry Valley nursery donated plants, Ponderiffic Adventures donated the water system, White Water Rock and Supply donated Gravel and Flagstone, Staters Bros for Water and Ice and Dominoes for delicious pizza.
This fantastic project was not simple, as everyone came together to help dig, weed and plant plants. With all that work of course it came time for lunch, pizza! Volunteers make it happen like we always say, and donors and sponsors as well. Check out photos below of this amazing project.
