Our Cure Hunger Now Community Food Outreaches help feed hundreds of households monthly. Every last Saturday of the month is our Banning Food Outreach at Repplier Park. On March 26, volunteers from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and Kids Cures came together to pack and pass out food. Volunteers passed out bags full of canned goods, snacks, meat, bread and other items. Partner Feeding America provides USDA quality food for families.
The first two lucky little girls in line got to go home with a new bike. Bikes were donated by the Banning Chamber. This was a touching surprise, each little girl was happy to receive their bike. Both families left with food and new bikes to make memories. Thank you to the Banning Chamber for donating, truly a blessing.
